Filip Pogady is a violin virtuoso based in New York, traveling all over the world performing at the most renowned concert venues, including Rudolfinum in Prague, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Lincoln Center in NYC, Tel Aviv Opera House, Lotte Hall in Seoul or Seoul Arts Center. Filip also makes many TV appearances, incl. guest starring on Louie.

Filip Pogady is from the same country as I am, and he’s also my good friend. I recently found out that he is moving to Cali, so we have decided to do one more cool, timeless, but short shoot in NYC.

Our first choice was the Gramercy Hotel because it’s our neighborhood pearl, and we do love it there. It was a rainy day. And well, we went there, but we were light with no real equipment because we did not want to spend time with the hustle of all approvals. We came and saw that there was almost pitch dark. In other words, mission impossible to shoot without any proper lighting.

So we have decided to shoot at my place instead. And well … I think we created some timeless magic. Obviously, it would not have happened without Filip’s look and past modeling experiences, but the important thing is that we made it!
