Coming to Chateau de la Chevre d’Or

Our short stop in Monaco was enjoyable, but what we were most excited about was our upcoming visit to the Chateau de la Chevre d’Or – the highlight of our Côte d’Azur trip. We couldn’t wait to experience the charm and luxury of this magnificent place.

The Chateau de la Chevre d’Or is located in Éze, a midcentury-old commune village overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. As we drove up the winding road toward the castle, we were struck by its grandeur and beauty. It was like something out of a fairy tale.

As we entered the castle, we were immediately enveloped by its romantic atmosphere. The castle’s old-world charm was evident in every nook and cranny. The stunning views of the sea from the terrace were breathtaking, and we felt transported to a different world.

Despite being the most expensive place we stayed at during our trip, it was worth every penny. Our room was luxurious and comfortable, with all the modern amenities we could have asked for. And, of course, the highlight of our stay was the exquisite two-Michelin-starred restaurant. The dining experience was out of this world, with delectable dishes that were truly works of art.

The Chateau de la Chevre d’Or was the perfect ending to our trip. It was an experience we would never forget, and we feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to stay in such a gorgeous and romantic place.

Chateau de la Chevre d'Or Terrace

From the moment we arrived at the Chateau de la Chevre d’Or, we knew we were in for a treat. As we pulled up to the entrance, we were struck by its grandeur and elegance. We felt like stars arriving at a premiere!

We handed over our car to the valet, who also took care of our luggage. The walk to the hotel was quite long, but we were happy to have our bags taken care of. As soon as we entered the reception area, we were greeted with warm smiles and offered a welcome drink and cake. It was just what we needed after the long journey.

The hotel is an old “castle” built into the rock, which gives it a unique and historic feel. Even though we opted for the smallest room, which was priced at $450, we were still impressed by its charm and elegance. However, we couldn’t help but feel a little envious when we saw the other rooms. The best one, priced at over $8,000, was truly breathtaking. It was hard to put into words just how beautiful it was.

Despite not being able to afford the most luxurious room, we knew that it was a good reason to come back and experience the magic of the Chateau de la Chevre d’Or once again. We felt like royalty during our stay, and we were already planning our next trip back before we had even left.
