Coming to Chateau de la Chevre d’Or

We enjoyed our short Monaco stop and knowing that we will be back in few days, we started to rush to Chateau de la Chevre d’Or. We knew that this is going to be our Côte d’Azur trip highlight. And it actually was.
It is the most gorgeous and romantic place we ever seen. It’s an old castle on the big rock over the Mediterranean Sea, which is actually a part of midcentury old commune village Éze.
It was also the most expensive place on our trip. Not only because of the room price, but there is also amazing 2 michelin star restaurant!

Chateau de la Chevre d'Or Terrace

We came as a star to the eye-catching entrance! We left our car for valet and there also took our luggages. It was a long way to the hotel, so we have been really happy for that. Warm welcome on the reception as well as welcome drink and cake warm as up for the room. It’s really midcentury old castle build in the rock. Unfortunately we took the smallest room, which was priced for $450. But on the other point of view it’s really good reason to come here again. When we saw other room… I was able to say just wooow… best one is priced for more than $8,000, but I don’t have words to describe it…
